About The Iron Mask Files
The Iron Mask Files is an independent, unofficial fan guide to Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four. It asks the question fans have argued about since 1962, who wins, and answers it carefully: with consistent rules, a transparent rating method, and the comic issues behind every claim.
The site covers 13 versions of Doom, 22 versions of the Fantastic Four from the original comics to the Ultimate Universe and the films, and 11 of the villains Doom has faced, from Thanos and the Cabal to the Molecule Man, plus a guide to Doom himself: his powers, history, battle record and kingdom.
Everything here is written for this site. It summarizes and comments on published stories; it does not reproduce comic pages or artwork, and it is not connected to Marvel or Disney in any way. See the disclaimer for details.

Every time Doctor Doom turns up in a new comic or a new trailer, the same argument starts again: could he actually beat the Fantastic Four? Most answers online are one person's opinion or a power-level chart with no sources. I wanted a place that answers it the slow way, with the same rules for every fight, a method anyone can check, and an issue number behind every claim.
The Iron Mask Files is independent and run by one fan. It is supported by the ads you may see here, which keeps it free to read. If you think a rating is wrong, write in. Disagreeing about Doom is half the fun, and the best arguments will change the numbers.

How the site is made
Every page starts from the published comics and films. Facts are checked against the issues themselves where possible and against reference sources such as the Marvel Database and Wikipedia, and each claim carries the issue it comes from. The odds come from a fixed rating method, explained on how the odds work, so every percentage can be traced back to its reasons. Articles are written for this site and updated when new comics change the story.
